Sam Ryder of the United Kingdom won the competition last year with his song Space Man. The BBC collaborated with a management company to select this year’s performer, Mae, in an effort to replicate last year’s success.
I Wrote A Song is typical of Mae Muller’s trademark spiky breakup songs. Over a polished club beat, she lists all the things she wishes to do to her cheating ex.
