Levi Davis: Police investigate a man who was asking for help while he was in the water.

Levi Davis’ family was alerted by Spanish police that they had seen him in distress in Barcelona’s harbour. The British male, age 25, has been missing since October 29 after his last confirmed sighting on city centre CCTV.

Julie Davis, Levi’s mother, said Catalan police were investigating a man in the sea asking for help. She found his passport near Barcelona’s port area in November, hours after speaking to him before he disappeared.

Catalan Police officers investigating his disappearance believe Levi headed to the port after his last sighting. A cruise ship entering the harbour at 6:30 a.m. reported seeing an English-speaking man in the ocean pleading for help.

The Police and British Consulate were appreciated by Julie for their inquiry, but she requested that Levi’s family and friends be respected during this awful time.

The authorities continue to explore the port’s waters and other inaccessible areas for Levi.
